hello there!
Today, I’m an Assistant Teaching Faculty in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University with 10 years of experience in industry. Mostly, I’ve focused on health care and higher education to improve the lives of those serving our society by designing technology that serves them.
When you think of “User Experience Design,” I’ve probably done anything and everything that comes to mind: a 1000+ page responsive website redesign, iOS and Android mobile app design, journey mapping, user interviews and contextual inquiries, design thinking workshopping all over the globe, and much much more.
I’ve also led and created UX teams within tech to not only design award-winning experiences, but also connect business strategy and design. Most recently, I established the first in-house UX team at Phreesia, a rapidly growing healthcare tech company.
What I’ve found is that by nature we are all discoverers, creators, and builders. My purpose is to teach what I’ve learned and partner with businesses to unlock their creative potential.
